Hibachi for Lunch

Cayler and Sons

Timberlands are the only boots most of us go to when we want to give off a streetwear vibe. I still remember the time when I got my first pair of timbs in the 8th grade. I was hella excited to wear them for my first day back to school after Christmas. After two hours of picking out the outfit I put together I was ready to kill the game the next morning. I had my South Pole baby blue hoodie and my light wash jeans ready to set the whole fit off with my wheat 6 inch timbs. While I did get a few looks in the hallways in between classes, and a few girls gave me some smiles it wasn't worth it. Little did I know, timbs are one of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn...lesson learned.

So this time around I wanted to do something different by finding a pair of boots that resembled the classic winter time favorite, but also had a flair of its own. The Cayler and Sons Hibachi Boot has easily become my favorite pair of shoes in my closet. This suede olive boot with gum bottom comes with so much detail that it's ridiculous. Both comfortable and stylish this boot matches well with any outfit that you put together. This was my first time wearing them but I promise you all will see me in them again in a future post.

I completed the outfit with an Olive MA1 bomber jacket by New Look. Underneath I fitted myself with a muscle black long sleeve scoop neck t-shirt from ASOS and a pair of black chinos. This is a great look for an afternoon out with friends and family or just a look to give the people something to see you in. All of these pieces (including the skinny black chinos) can be found on one of my favorite websites, ASOS.com.
